I’ve read lots of books and seen videos about Feng Shui techniques, and believe it works. Many of the techniques are just good common sense, and a lot of its benefits seem to be on the subliminal basis. But its cool to be in a place where you feel comfortable, and when you look around, you notice all of the right Feng Shui elements. Or the opposite - analyze ways to change a space and make it feel better.
I redecorated my living room in the past month, and after using some basic techniques, was so pleased to see people enjoying the room, feeling comfortable, and I couldn’t get my sister off the couch! The best tips I’ve learned are: avoid clutter; incorporate all five elements into the space for balance and variety (water, fire, wood, metal, earth); and only have things that you REALLY love in your space.
I redid my bedroom too - so bye-bye old ratty rocking chair, hello sexy chaise lounge!
