Suggested Topics (or a combination of these topics):

1. Sex Game Show. Do you want bragging rights to call yourself a “sexpert” for an evening? With four teams, team captains, and contestants on stage, the whole audience in involved with figuring out the correct answers to current sex research questions. Your game show host Dr. Jenn will challenge your knowledge and explain why and how this research can improve our sex lives and relationships. (Best for audience size between 20 and 80.)

2. Intimacy 360: Couples Intimacy Seminar. It's common for couples in long-term relationships to lose their sense of intimacy and passion. Time, stress, kids, work, travel, sleep, and other competing demands take a toll on intimate connection and understanding. This highly interactive workshop guides couples through many activities designed to cultivate mindfulness, sensuality, communication, and appreciation. Couples leave with new tools and simple activities that can help them see each other through new eyes again.

3. Beyond the Hashtag: Changing the Consent Conversation in a #MeToo Era (or Grab 'em by the WHAT?! Sex, Consent, & American Values). Sexual interactions in the United States are rife with misunderstandings and miscommunication around consent. This interactive lecture is based around a personal story of a sexual consent violation Dr. Jenn experienced recently.

Dr. Jenn discusses how and why sexual coercion is built into the fabric of so many sexual interactions, and how even folks who think they understand consent, often have only a superficial knowledge. She guides the audience through the experience of critical thinking, mindfulness, and compassion, and how cultivating these can help us all find our voice and respect for others. The goal is to shift from a campus culture of coercion, to a culture of consent.

4. Mythbusting Sex! Sex is a complicated, taboo, and titillating topic, and because of its complexity, there are many myths that pass as truths. These myths create unrealistic expectations, or worse yet, leave students and adults unprepared for the realities of sex. This presentation is serious mythbusting with a lot of humor thrown in. Dr. Jenn dispels the top myths around sex. This lecture is an open discussion where basic misconceptions will be addressed and then participants can anonymously submit questions and have their personal questions and concerns addressed.

5. Mindful Sex & Sexy Mindfulness. In definition, mindfulness sounds simple — be present in the moment and aware without judgment. In practice, though, this can be a trickier skill to develop. But the benefits for improving intimate relationships are endless!

Dr. Jenn leads the audience through a new experience of mindfulness and their senses, and increases awareness about the power of everyday practices. Mindfulness is the key to changing harmful patterns, improving self-esteem, being present with an intimate partner, enjoying pleasure, and experiencing joy in everyday moments. This lecture not only improves sexual interactions, it improves lives overall!

6. For Women: Finding Your Voice & Authentic Expression. What's it really mean to be a strong woman? Many women are raised to keep quiet and prioritize the needs of others. While these characteristics can be valuable in some settings, they often hold women back from speaking their truths, taking care of themselves, and advancing in the workplace.

This interactive lecture guides women through the topics of inspiration, balance, strength, compassion, and mindfulness. With new, practical tools, women can start to give themselves permission to shift from self-doubt and insecurity, to living authentic and self-expressed lives.
