I don't have a lot of value to write here - I just really wanted to post this photo of flamingos getting it on. I've learned quite a bit in the past few months watching the flamingoes at the San Diego Zoo move through their mating season, building nests, laying eggs, and raising their adorable little grey fuzzballs. I'm often surprised by how entertaining many species of birds are at the zoo!

SEXUAL FUN FACT
What "sexual" words does the FCC frown upon?
The G-Swirl vibrator has long been a favorite of mine. It was designed by the staff at Good Vibrations, and produced by Fun Factory. These are two companies who know what they are doing with sex toys! Why do I like it? Firm material for a solid feel, with just enough flexibility to not hurt. The vibrations are strong for a battery-powered vibrator, but not numbing. It's made of a high-grade silicone so it's not porous or off-gassing chemicals. And the on/off and speed control is easily manipulated with one hand. It's also very reasonable priced! To read more about it and online reviews, go to G-Swirl Vibrator.
Urban Tantra, by Barbara Carrellas, is a wonderful journey through sacred sexuality for those of us living in America in the 21st century. Tantra is an ancient practice of spiritual sexuality and bliss, that can often feel daunting in our face-paced society. Carrellas brings compassion and open-mindedness to this educational and inspiring exploration of bringing greater depth, connection, and pleasure to sexual experiences. From cultural critique to sketch drawings of technique, she covers her bases in creating a fascinting and safe journey to greater self-knowledge and pleasure. I particularly appreciated the author's easy-to-read style and personal stories sprinkled throughout. Whether you read the entire book from front to back, or flip through to chapters that grab your interest, I think it's a worthy read to broaden sexual horizons.
